CHEMEX 6-Cup
Coffee: 46g, med-coarse grind - Water: 710g Water (205 Degree F) - Brew Time: 4-5 minutes

Rinse filter with hot water. Pour out rinse water.

Add ground coffee to filter, shake gently to level coffee grounds.

Pour 80 grams of water evenly over the grounds - Avoid edges of filter.

Let coffee degas and ‘bloom’ for 45 seconds.

Continue the pour in a steady spiraling pattern. Try to avoid pouring directly in the center or around the edges of the filter. If the water level nears the rim of the Chemex, pause for a moment to let it drain before continuing. Stop pouring once you’ve run out of water. You’re aiming for 3 mins of pouring and a total 4-5 mins drip through completion.

Remove and toss your filter, swirl the coffee around inside the chemex and serve!
